Last updated: 13 July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how GP Headlines ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and protects information when you visit https://gpheadlines.com (the "Site"). By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.
Who we are
GP Headlines is an independent Formula 1 news and analysis website. We are not affiliated with Formula 1, the FIA, or any team. You can reach us through the form on our About & Contact page.
Information we collect
- Information you give us. If you subscribe to our newsletter or send a message through our contact form, we collect the details you provide (such as your name, email address and message). Form submissions are processed by our hosting provider, Netlify.
- Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our servers and third-party providers automatically log standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device information, referring pages, and the pages you view. This helps us keep the Site secure and understand how it is used.
- Cookies and similar technologies. Cookies are small files stored on your device. We and our partners use them for essential site functions, to measure traffic, and (where enabled) to serve advertising. See "Cookies and advertising" below.
How we use information
- To operate, maintain and improve the Site;
- To send you the newsletter you requested (you can unsubscribe at any time);
- To respond to messages you send us;
- To analyse usage and measure the performance of our content;
- To display advertising and comply with legal obligations.
Cookies and advertising
We intend to display advertising through Google AdSense. When ads are enabled:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our Site and/or other sites on the internet.
- You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info and youronlinechoices.eu.
Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings; note that some parts of the Site may not function as intended without them.
Analytics
We may use privacy-respecting analytics tools to understand aggregate traffic and improve the Site. These tools may set cookies or process technical data as described above.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers who help us run the Site (such as our host, form processor, email and advertising partners), and where required by law. These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy terms.
Data retention
We keep newsletter and contact information for as long as needed to provide the service and for legitimate business or legal purposes. You can ask us to remove your details at any time.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, and to opt out of certain processing. To make a request, contact us via the contact form. To unsubscribe from the newsletter, use the unsubscribe link in any email.
Children's privacy
The Site is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Third-party links
Our content links out to other websites (for example, original news sources). We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites; please review their policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes may be highlighted on the Site.
